One of the most beloved American novels of all time, *The Great Gatsby* is F. Scott Fitzgerald’s magnum opus. In the decades since its 1925 publication, the novel became a fixture of high school literature classes and inspired countless critically acclaimed adaptations, including a 2013 Baz Luhrmann film starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
