The Lucille Lortel Theatre, located in the heart of New York City's West Village, serves as an outstanding venue for off-Broadway productions. Originally built in 1926 as a film studio, it was transformed into an 18th-century style theatre in 1955 by Lucille Lortel. It seats comfortably 299 people. How to Get There: The Lucille Lortel Theatre is conveniently located at 121 Christopher Street. It's easily accessible by subway, the nearest stop is Christopher Street on the 1 Line. Also, the A, C, E, B, D, F, and M trains stop at West 4th Street, a short walk away. There are also numerous bus lines. For those driving, there are public parking lots nearby.
