Peter and Debbie find themselves entangled in a sticky situation when a friend made on holiday, Elsa, with hidden Republican views, unexpectedly arrives at their house with undercover plans. As Pete and Debbie investigate Elsa online, they uncover disturbing information that makes them regret their curiosity.

Now, faced with the dilemma of cancelling Elsa's visit, the couple realises they've unwittingly invited trouble into their lives. What started as a harmless encounter becomes a tense game of cat and mouse, forcing Pete and Debbie to balance politeness with the need to protect their family from potential danger. Can they navigate this awkward and potentially dangerous situation without succumbing to embarrassment?

In his debut play, Steven Moffat teams up with director Mark Gatiss and star Reece Shearsmith from The League of Gentlemen. Moffat boasts an impressive resume, having written over 40 episodes for the iconic series Doctor Who. This new play reunites him with Gatiss after their previous collaboration on the hit BBC series Sherlock.

Joining the cast are BAFTA Award-winning comedian Lee Mack (Not Going Out, Would I Lie To You) and Sarah Alexander (Smack The Pony, Coupling), alongside Frances Barber (Silk, Doctor Who), who will reprise her role in this comedic hit.
