Thomas William Hiddleston&nbsp;was born on&nbsp;February 9, 1981, in Westminster, London, England. He is a Golden Globe- and Olivier Award-winning actor,&nbsp;best known for his role as Loki in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Initially raised in Wimbledon, Hiddleston started at Windlesham House School, a boarding school, at age 7&nbsp;before transferring to the Dragon School in Oxford and then the prestigious Eton College at&nbsp;age 13. He went on to study classics at the University of Cambridge's Pembroke College, graduating with a double first degree, before going on to study&nbsp;acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and graduating in 2005.

He made his professional acting debut in 2001 in The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby&nbsp;for ITV&nbsp;and continued to land small roles on television for the next few years, including parts in Conspiracy&nbsp;(2001) and The Gathering Storm&nbsp;(2002). William Kissam Vanderbilt originally built the Winter Garden Theatre in 1896 as the American Horse Exchange. However, William Albert Swasey redesigned it for the Shuberts as a theatre, which officially opened on March 10, 1911.

The inaugural production was the Jerome Kern musical *La Belle Paree*. Architect Herbert J. Krapp remodeled the building in 1922. Over its lifespan, the venue has also served as a cinema for Warner Bros. and United Artists and has hosted the famous Ziegfeld Follies vaudeville show.

From 2002 to 2007, the venue was called the Cadillac Winter Garden Theatre due to a sponsorship agreement between the Shubert Organization and General Motors.

The Winter Garden Theatre is one of only a couple Broadway houses actually located on the street called Broadway. The venue's interior is a designated New York City landmark.

*Oh, Mary!* is one of Broadway’s most unexpected breakouts, having been praised for its audacity and inventiveness. Escola’s script twists American history into an absurdist tale, imagining Mary Todd Lincoln as the frustrated, unsatisfied wife whose ambitions are thwarted by her gay, closeted husband and a world that doesn’t take her seriously.

This critically acclaimed one-act play rewrites the story of Mary Todd Lincoln with a deeply irreverent twist. In the weeks leading up to her husband Abraham Lincoln’s assassination, Mary is fed up with life, suffocated by expectation, and increasingly reliant on alcohol. Desperately needing escape, she holds onto dreams of returning to the cabaret stage, where she once felt a semblance of joy. What unfolds from there is a messy exploration of desire and repression, all filtered through the absurd imagination of Escola.

*Oh, Mary!* is a play which had a smashing Off-Broadway and Broadway run, and is now arriving in London with a brand-new Mary: Mason Alexander Park (*Captain BeBop, The Sandman*). Joining them is an exceptional cast, including Olivier-winner Giles Terera (*Hamilton, Othello*), Kate O’Donnell (*Big Girl’s Blouse*), Oliver Stockley (*Cabaret*), and Dino Fetscher (*The Normal Heart*).

In collaboration with this exquisite cast is a formidable creative team, including director Sam Pinkleton, costume designer Holly Pierson, lighting designer Cha See, sound designers Daniel Kluger and Drew Levy, and original music by Daniel Kluger.

The show has won multiple awards, including Tony Awards for Best Leading Actor (Cole Escola) and Best Direction of a Play (Sam Pinkleton). *Oh, Mary!* manages to blend rapid-fire comedy with humour that is just as biting as it is bizarre. *Oh, Mary!* was referred to as “the funniest play in years” by [Time Out](https://www.timeout.com/newyork/theater/oh-mary-broadway-review-cole-escola). 

With Pinkleton’s sharp direction and Escola’s masterful storytelling, this production transforms history into an absolutely hilarious queer timeline unlike anything else on the West End.

She has previously starred, for one night only, in Nassim Soleimanpour’s *ECHO (Every Cold-Hearted Oxygen)* at the Royal Court.

The comedian and actress is best known for playing Fran in the Hulu comedy series *Shrill*, and Kitty in the BBC comedy *Ghosts*. She has also starred in TV shows like *8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown* and *Taskmaster*.

Trafalgar Theatre is the West End's newest hit theatre, located in the heart of historic London. The theatre's reconfiguration into a more proscenium format enables it to host a diverse range of shows, attracting a broad audience base from all walks of life. Innocent until recently; the Trafalgar Theatre’s rich history - from being a television and film studio to eventually transitioning into a theatre – adds an air of fascination. ## How to Get to the Venue
 Trafalgar Theatre is conveniently located near several Underground stations with Charing Cross being the closest - a mere 2-minute walk. Bus services also provide excellent connectivity to and from various parts of London, with several routes stopping within walking distance of the theatre. For those who prefer driving, there are a few NCP car parks nearby. The theatre is also easily accessible for cyclists, with several bicycle racks available in the vicinity.

The Trafalgar Theatre opened in the West End theatre in summer 2021. Named the Trafalgar Theatre, the playhouse combines the two smaller studio spaces at Trafalgar Studios: Trafalgar Studio One and Trafalgar Studio Two. 

The Grade II listed Trafalgar Theatre will feature a new single auditorium, with a capacity similar to the [Duke of York’s Theatre](https://www.londontheatre.co.uk/theatres/duke-of-yorks-theatre) and the [Vaudeville Theatre](https://www.londontheatre.co.uk/theatres/vaudeville-theatre). Seating will be across two levels: the stalls and dress circle.
