About A Few Good Men

See Academy Award winner Aaron Sorkin's hit courtroom drama return to the stage. Starring Emmy Award winner Bradley Whitford (“The West Wing”) and Tom Blyth ("The Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes"), A Few Good Men plays for 13 weeks only beginning October 8, 2026 at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theater. Directed by six-time Tony Award winner Michael Arden (Maybe Happy Ending, The Lost Boys, Parade), A Few Good Men asks, can you handle the truth?

A Few Good Men tells the story of military lawyers at a court-martial. There, they uncover a high-level conspiracy while trying to defend their clients: two United States Marines who are accused of murder. Twists and turns, secrets and coverups, and truth and lies take this riveting story to surprising places that settle matters far beyond the matters of the court. Don't miss the return of this hit play.

An impactful play that shows the true grit of soliders but also the extent that loyal will go to cover something up. But there is a few good men out there willing to let morals override a code.

Highly recommend! A clever, well-paced, and very Aaron Sorkin play. The stage design was top-tier. And Bradley Whitford can do no wrong.

Excellent acting across the board. While I had seen the movie it was so great to see the play live in the theatre. Our family and guests really enjoyed the entire experience.

More information about A Few Good Men

A Few Good Men had its world premiere at the Heritage Repertory Theatre, located at the University of Virginia's Department of Drama, in 1989. Those humble beginnings soon catapulted the career of playwright Aaron Sorkin: the drama went on to transfer to the Kennedy Center, and then premiered in the Music Box Theatre on Broadway, directed by Don Scardino.

Scardino has his own history of leading Lincoln Center Theatre, where this story now arrives for its long-awaited Broadway revival. A timeless story of morality and truth, A Few Good Men shows the cost of following your truth in a system built on secrecy. Known for its gripping and high-stakes scenes and cutting, signature dialogue, the play reveals that a country’s ideals are only as sturdy as our willingness to defend them. Fans of the Hollywood film will find much to enjoy in this play, as will those who are completely new to the always-relevant and stirring legal story.
