You ain't seen nothing yeti: set an alert for when Bigfoot! A New Musical tickets go on sale with TodayTix to catch this big musical with an even bigger heart. A musical myth by Tony Award nominee Amber Ruffin (Some Like it Hot), David A. Schmoll (Second City), and Kevin Sciretta (MST3K), Bigfoot! is a singing urban legend with a misunderstood you at its center. Bigfoot! comes to New York City Center starting February 2026 in a production directed and choreographed by Danny Mefford.
Bigfoot! is musical comedy's next big thing. Set in the town of Muddirt, a glow-in-the-dark oasis that's somewhere between a chemical dump and a nuclear plant, Bigfoot! is a larger-than-life musical tale of corrupt politicians, small-town panic, and a youth people don't understand but also can clearly see: he's eight feet tall. Innocent and in dire need of electrolysis, this youth is about to go on a journey like no other. Bigfoot! in New York is a can’t-miss (or can’t-myth) musical comedy for our time.

Bigfoot! A New Musical is performing for an eight-week limited engagement this winter only and is presented in association with Manhattan Theatre Club. The musical has already made a footprint in musical theatre: it previously previewed with a 2024 concert performance at 54 Below and also held developmental performances at New York Stage and Film the same year.
Now, the show gets a full production with a talented team: Emmy nominee Ruffin received a Tony nomination for Best Book of a Musical for Some Like it Hot and penned additional material for the 2024 revival of The Wiz. She has also written and performed on many TV shows, including The Amber Ruffin Show, Detroiters, A Black Lady Sketch Show, and Drunk History.
Kevin Sciretta has been a writer, improviser, and actor in Chicago for over 20 years, and David A. Schmoll has served as musical director for The Second City and Boom Chicago.
Bigfoot! is a musical myth about the small-town corruptions and paranoia that swirl around a misunderstood youth...who happens to be eight feet tall.
Bigfoot! is at New York's New York City Center, which is located at 131 W 55th St, New York, 10019.
