Operation Mincemeat! (I will yap about it to anyone who can listen). It's just such a unique musical with moments that make me laugh and cry. I'm on watch number 19. There's so much to rewatch with this show. I'll keep seeing and recommending it for as long as it runs.

Is it a romantic comedy? Not really. Is it romantic? Absolutely. Is it funny? Definitely. Is there a cake? You better believe it. (Although less than you would think, funny enough)

Absolutely ingenious set and two performers killing it on stage every performance elevating a fairly simple story with a runtime that won't leave you looking at your watch.

I'm still recommending Maybe Happy Ending to anyone who will listen! It's a show that everyone can relate to in some sense imo and leaves you with a hopefulness and warm fuzzies 🥹 And it helps that it's just under 2 hours, not a long commitment of time if people have other plans!

The Lost Boys!! I went with three friends and our jaws were on the floor the entire time. It is a masterpiece of theater and the direction was beautifully integrated with the lighting and sound design. The plot moves quite fast and I think it is an amazing show.

Cats: The Jellicle Ball. Such an innovative take on a Cats revival! In general, I love revivals that experiment with massive changes, it makes the show more interesting than "hey, we know this show hasn't been performed on broadway for 10+ years so here it is again in the same way."
