TT US Rush and Lottery

TodayTix Rush & Lottery

Rush and Lottery are how you see Broadway, the West End, and tonight's biggest theatre, comedy, and concerts at a fraction of the box office price. Two programs, one app — here's how each works.

Rush and Lottery tickets are app-only. Download the TodayTix app and use the Lottery & Rush filter to see which shows are participating.

What's the difference between Rush and Lottery?

Rush tickets are deeply discounted, same-day seats released each morning on a first-come, first-served basis. Open the app at the release time, tap to claim, and you have tickets for tonight.

Lottery tickets are entries for the chance to win discounted seats. Enter through the app and wait — winners are drawn at random and have a short window to claim their seats.

Lottery

Enter the Lottery for a chance to win discounted tickets to popular shows. Winners are randomly selected by computer and notified through the TodayTix app and email.

Each Lottery sets its own opening, closing, and draw cadence — some open the night before, some open day-of, others open up to a week ahead. Check the show page for the specific Lottery details for that show.

How do I enter the Lottery?

Open the TodayTix app, find the show, and tap Enter Lottery. You can only enter once per performance. For shows that open multiple performances at once, select each performance date you'd like to be entered for in a single submission. Optional: share on Instagram or Facebook for additional entries.

How long do I have to claim if I win?

30 to 60 minutes, depending on the show.

How many Lottery tickets can I buy?

One or two tickets per win. Lottery tickets are final sale, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable.

What happens if I don't win?

You can enter again for a future performance.

How do I set up a Lottery alert?

Enable push notifications for TodayTix in your phone settings — we'll alert you when each Lottery opens.

How do I pick up my Lottery tickets?

Lottery tickets are picked up at the box office on the day of the performance. Bring valid photo ID — your confirmation email will have specific pickup instructions for the show.

Rush

Rush tickets release each morning on a first-come, first-served basis — for that day's performance(s). Most shows release at 9 AM local time, except London shows, which release at 10 AM local time. Pricing varies by show.

How do I buy Rush tickets on the TodayTix app?

Log into your TodayTix account, navigate to the show, and look for the Rush section. Use the Lottery & Rush filter to browse all shows currently offering Rush.

How do I unlock Rush tickets?

On the show page, tap Unlock Now in the Rush section. Note what time Rush opens for that day, set an alert, and tap Get Rush Tickets the moment the window opens.

How many Rush tickets can I buy?

Up to two tickets per person. Rush tickets are final sale, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable.

What does “all tickets are currently being held” mean?

Rush tickets are subject to availability and can sell out fast. If you don't get tickets when Rush first opens, check back later — sometimes tickets release from abandoned baskets. Once Rush is fully sold out for the day, the show page reflects it.

How do I set up a Rush alert?

Enable push notifications for TodayTix in your phone settings.

How do I receive my Rush tickets?

It varies by show. Some Rush tickets are delivered to your TodayTix app; others are picked up at the box office on the day of the performance. Bring valid photo ID for box office pickup. Your confirmation email will have specific instructions for the show.
