Day-of Deals, Rush, and Lottery

Rush tickets are deeply discounted, same-day seats released each morning on the TodayTix app on a first-come, first-served basis. They're how you see your city's best shows without planning ahead.

Lottery tickets are entries for the chance to win discounted seats to popular shows. Enter through the TodayTix app, winners are drawn at random, and if you win you'll have a short window to claim and pay for your seats.

Rush tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and are for that day's performance. Lottery tickets are awarded at random — winners are notified anywhere from about a week before the performance to day-of, depending on the Lottery. Most shows that offer Rush or Lottery have them for every performance, but the number of tickets distributed varies and is subject to availability.

Open the TodayTix app, find the show, and tap Unlock Now. Most shows release Rush at 9 AM local time the day of the performance — tap Get Rush Tickets when the window opens. Enable Rush alerts so you're notified the moment seats are released.

Open the TodayTix app, find the show, and set an alert for when the Lottery opens. Once it opens, tap Enter Lottery. Entry windows are set by each show — usually one to two days before the performance. Winners are notified by app and email.

Rush and Lottery tickets are typically a fraction of the box office price — exact pricing varies by show and is shown in the app before you confirm.
