From humble beginnings in Nutbush, Tennessee, to her transformation into the global Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, __Tina Turner__ didn’t just break the rules, she rewrote them. This new stage musical reveals the untold story of a woman who dared to defy the bounds of her age, gender and race.

One of the world’s best-selling artists of all time, __Tina Turner__ has won *12 Grammy Awards* and her live shows have been seen by millions, with more concert tickets sold than any other solo performer in music history.

*TINA - The Tina Turner Musical* first premiered in London at the Aldwych Theatre in April 2018 and opened on Broadway in November 2019. The Australian premiere opened in May 2023 at the iconic Theatre Royal Sydney.

The Queen of Rock n’ Roll provided her stamp of approval. That is to say, Turner was on hand for the musical’s creative evolution and gave the go-ahead for each character’s depiction and even their moves. In fact, Turner herself taught her original onstage counterpart, __Adrienne Warren__, how to do her signature move, the Pony.

While it would be nearly impossible to include the entire __Tina Turner__ songbook into a single musical (that would be one long show), don’t expect any skimping. There are a massive __21 songs__ in TINA - The Tina Turner Musical — and yes, they’re the ones you want to hear and maybe even a few you weren’t expecting. Just like Turner herself, this musical is full of surprises.

Did you know that __Tina Turner__ is listed in the Guinness Book of Records for selling more concert tickets than any solo performer in history? She has sold more than 200 million albums and singles worldwide to date, which makes her one of the biggest selling female artists in music history.

The American-born singer and actress chose to give up her American citizenship in 2013 after becoming a citizen of Switzerland.

Audiences should know that they’re in the most-competent jukebox hands with English talented director and producer __Phyllida Lloyd__, best known for directing one of the most universally beloved jukebox shows of all time, *Mamma Mia!* and film *The Iron Lady* starring *Meryl Streep*.

2) The Lottery is a series of ticket ballots and the term 'lottery'/'lotteries' is only used in a brand sense. No gambling is involved and the ‘prize’ of the right to purchase tickets itself has no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money or other consideration. Any expenses not specifically stated herein, including but not limited to meals, taxes, gratuities, travel and accommodation for the winner and his/her guest are the sole responsibility of the winner.

3) The Lottery is operated by TodayTix Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 65 628 868 397) care of c / o International Accounting Solutions Pty Ltd, Suite 1003 Level 10, 28 Margaret Street Sydney 2000 (TodayTix).

4) No purchase or payment is required to enter the Lottery.

5) To enter the Lottery you must either reside in Australia and/or be able to attend the relevant scheduled performance at Theatre Royal Sydney and be aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. 

6) You can enter the Lottery: a) by following the prompts on the TodayTix website and by downloading the TodayTix mobile application from the App Store or Play Store (at no cost) and enter the lottery by following the prompts in-app before 1pm AEST Thursday each week;

7) Choosing to enter for either one (1) or two (2) tickets at any one performance of TINA - The Tina Turner Musical holds no bearing on your chances of being drawn as a winner.

8) Beginning 12:01 am AEST Friday 21 April 2023, and every Friday thereafter, entries will open, and winners of the Lottery will be selected at random by a computerised process and will be notified by email, SMS Text or Phone from 1pm AEST on every Thursday immediately before the start of the following week of the relevant scheduled performances of the relevant Lottery (the Drawing). All times are based solely on the TodayTix computer clock.

9) Subject to clause 12, you can enter the Lottery for as many performances as you wish, but you can only win the Lottery for each performance once. Each entry will be for one performance only, and your entry cannot be rolled-over or exchanged to a Lottery for another performance.

10) Limit of one entry per person per performance. Multiple entries for the same performance by the same person may result in disqualification.

11) Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received and amount of lottery tickets available for each performance. No entries will be acknowledged or returned.

12) If you enter the Lottery through the TodayTix mobile application you can earn one (1) extra entry into the same Lottery that you have entered if you share the auto-filled post on Facebook and another one (1) extra entry if you share the auto-filled post on Twitter and another one (1) extra entry if you share the auto-filled post on Instagram.

13) You acknowledge and agree that the Lottery is a chance to win the right to buy tickets to TINA - The Tina Turner Musical at an exclusive Lottery price, and not a chance to win tickets to the performance itself.

14) If you are notified as being a potential winner of the Lottery, you will have one (1) hour from the Drawing to claim and purchase the tickets offered (the Acceptance Time). The tickets offered will be for the performance selected at the time you entered the Lottery, and you cannot change or request tickets for another performance.

15) If you do not claim and purchase the tickets offered within the Acceptance Time, then another potential winner will be selected at random by a computerised process and will be notified by email on the Thursday immediately before the start of the week of the relevant scheduled performances of the relevant Lottery (the Second Drawing). This process will repeat every hour after the Drawing until the earlier of 6:00 pm AEST that day (Closing Time) or a potential winner claims and purchases the relevant tickets offered. If a potential winner has not claimed and purchased the relevant tickets by the Closing Time, TodayTix reserves the right to contact entrants at random for the purpose of offering the relevant tickets.

16) Any tickets purchased through the Lottery will be subject to TodayTix’s standard terms and conditions of purchase (see: www.todaytix.com/au/terms) and the terms and conditions of the relevant theatre owner. Conditions of Entry to the venue also apply.

17) Tickets purchased through the Lottery cannot be exchanged, refunded, or resold. Photo ID that matches the correct winner's name on the TodayTix account may be required at the relevant theatre box office for collection of tickets and to gain entry to the venue.

18) Where a performance is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated due to intervening circumstances, TodayTix will make reasonable endeavours to contact affected lottery winners in a timely manner and inform them of options available. Available options are made at the sole discretion of the Producer and/or Venue and may include a full refund or exchange.

19) To the extent permitted by law: a) TodayTix will not be liable for any loss or damage you suffer as a result of entering the Lottery unless caused by TodayTix’s gross negligence or willful misconduct; and b) TodayTix’s cumulative liability to you for any loss or damage whatsoever which arises under or in connection with these terms and conditions or participation in the Lottery, and whether by way of an indemnity or statute, in tort (for negligence or otherwise), or any other basis in law or equity, is limited to the value of [AUD$100] in aggregate.

20) TodayTix accepts no responsibility for: a) any undelivered ‘potential winner’ emails, SMS or push notifications, including those sent to your junk email folder; or b) late, lost, incorrectly submitted or misdirected entries, for any technological malfunction or failure, internet traffic congestion, or for outdated or incorrect contact details by which the entrant cannot be contacted.

21) To the full extent permitted by law, TodayTix excludes all warranties, terms, conditions or undertakings, whether expressed or implied, from these terms and conditions.

22) TodayTix may collect personal information in order to conduct the Lottery and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, theatre owners and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry to the Lottery is conditional on providing this information. TodayTix may, for an indefinite period, unless you elect to opt-out, use your information for promotional and marketing purposes, including sending electronic messages to you about products and services offered by TodayTix. All personal information collected will be collected, held, and used in accordance with the TodayTix Privacy Policy which can be accessed at https://www.todaytix.com/au/privacy-policy.

23) TodayTix reserves the right to cancel or change the Lottery at any time without notice.

Unlocking the Rush section of one production will not unlock all Rush programmes in the app, only the production specified. You may purchase up to two (2) tickets for the featured show title once these are marketed within the Show section of the app. You must then pay for the ticket(s) without delay to secure them. There is strictly no refunds or exchanges for Rush tickets.

You must open a registered account via the app in order to participate in TodayTix Rush. You can open a registered account via the app at https://www.todaytix.com/download. To participate in TodayTix mobile Rush and purchase tickets through the TodayTix Rush section of the app you must reside in Australia and be aged 18 years or older. 

To unlock and access the TodayTix Rush section of the app, you will on each occasion first be invited (but not required) to post content about TodayTix Rush to your registered account with Instagram or Twitter or Facebook from within the app. Such content will be an endorsement of the then current musical/theatrical performance featured on the locked screen of the TodayTix Rush section of the app, but not an endorsement of any other third-party product or service. By posting the content you agree to its language and representations. Your decision to post content will not affect the ticket(s) available to you in the TodayTix Rush section of the app and/or their price. 

Once you have posted the content or elected to unlock without sharing, the app will display a payment page to pay for the discounted price ticket(s). You must then pay for the ticket(s) without delay to secure them. 

Discounted price tickets sold through the TodayTix Rush section of the app are for the stated performance time of the featured musical/theatrical performance which will always be later on the same date. The discounted price tickets are very limited in quantity and subject to availability sold on a 'first come first served basis'. 

Tickets for a stated performance will not be available through the TodayTix Rush section of the app if there is less than one (1) hour until the start of the performance, or if all the discounted price tickets have been sold. 

You may only purchase up to two (2) discounted price tickets for a stated performance through the TodayTix Rush section of the app. 

All tickets purchased through TodayTix Rush will be subject to TodayTix’s standard Terms and Conditions of purchase (see: [www.todaytix.com/terms/au](https://www.todaytix.com/terms/au)) and Conditions of Entry to the venue apply.

You acknowledge and agree that TodayTix makes no representation to you or gives any warranty that you will be able to purchase any tickets through TodayTix Rush, and the ability to purchase tickets through TodayTix Rush will be subject to availability. 

To the extent permitted by law, all instructions within the TodayTix Rush section of the app will form part of these Terms and Conditions. To the extent permitted by law: a. TodayTix will not be liable for any loss or damage you suffer as a result of participating in TodayTix Rush unless caused by TodayTix’s gross negligence or willful misconduct; and b.
