*A Few Good Men* had its world premiere at the Heritage Repertory Theatre, located at the University of Virginia's Department of Drama, in 1989. Those humble beginnings soon catapulted the career of playwright Aaron Sorkin: the drama went on to transfer to the Kennedy Center, and then premiered in the Music Box Theatre on Broadway, directed by Don Scardino.

Scardino has his own history of leading Lincoln Center Theatre, where this story now arrives for its long-awaited Broadway revival. A timeless story of morality and truth, *A Few Good Men* shows the cost of following your truth in a system built on secrecy. Known for its gripping and high-stakes scenes and cutting, signature dialogue, the play reveals that a country’s ideals are only as sturdy as our willingness to defend them. Fans of the Hollywood film will find much to enjoy in this play, as will those who are completely new to the always-relevant and stirring legal story.

Don't miss *A Few Good Men* in New York City: the legal drama follows the court case around an alleged murder committed by two United States Marines. Soon, the charming Dan Kaffee and sharp JoAnne Galloway clash as legal representatives. But what begins as a straightforward case soon devolves into something darker: a murder that may be a cover-up, a case riled by secrecy, and a fight to hide, and bring out, the truth — if you are bold enough to handle it.

Artistic Director Lear DeBessonet said in a statement, “We have curated a collection of shows that invite connection and conversation with the world around us. We want audiences to feel the hum of occasion and the promise of care from the moment they arrive at LCT. We hope these productions leave audiences with a deeper sense of truth, a renewed capacity for wonder, and a fuller connection to the heart of our shared humanity."

Audiences can expect exceptional performances and a riveting script that catapulted Sorkin to Hollywood fame: the film adaptation was an Oscar nominee for Best Picture and starred Tom Cruise and Demi Moore. Now, see the story on stage.
