Fifty years ago, The Public Theater opened its doors with HAIR, a groundbreaking new musical that led a counter-cultural revolution and defined a generation. Today it’s celebrated as one of the most iconic musicals of all time and a break-out phenomenon that’s beloved the world over.
So turn on, tune in, and drop out with us for a one-night only event that reunites company members from our Tony Award-winning Broadway revival, including director Diane Paulus, for a concert version of songs and scenes from this ground-breaking show. All proceeds benefit The Public Theater.
