Mariachi Flor de Toloache made history as New York City’s as first and only all-women mariachi group. Led by singers Mireya I. Ramos and Shae Fiol, the ensemble members hail from four continents and produce an edgy, versatile and fresh take on Mexican music.
The group’s critically acclaimed, self-titled debut album received a Latin Grammy nomination for “Best Ranchera Album” of 2015. The group’s live performances have been praised by Rolling Stone, Billboard Magazine, The New Yorker, GQ Magazine and The New York Times. Edna Vazquez is a Latin American artist based in the American Northwest, who performs original music that pays homage to her many influences from across the Americas.
