In Damn Yankees, Joe Boyd is middle-aged at home with his cherished wife Meg, hoping to see his beloved Baltimore Orioles win the World Series. He's a die-hard fan looking for his team to regain their glory, and unlike the original production of Damn Yankees, this one takes place in the early 2000s. The timeless tale remains in story and structure, however, as soon Joe meets a charming stranger and his captivating accomplice with a deal that's too good to refuse.
