The year is 1943 and Bulgaria has just told Hitler where to stick it.

Well staged, Bare-bones, Relevant, Clever, Absorbing

See it if for snappy ensemble playing many roles. Creative history tale. Actors sing, play instruments. Cheeky script w/some lame jokes. Spirited!

Don’t see it if you want fully polished work. No set, costumes, few props. Accents. Fascinating story, well told. Some 4th wall breaks.

Brave, especially our days with the rise of antise, Thought-provoking, Riveting, Entertaining, Absorbing

See it if Unknown history of Bulgaria when the king had a dilemma to exchange Jewish lives to the land or to save them.He had no choice and did both.

Don’t see it if Actors playing multiple roles, gender bending small production. No more reasons not to see it.

Boris gets chummy with nazis but redeems himself

See it if you're in the mood for a smaller show with a super talented, versatile casts. You like plays about history.

Don’t see it if you dislike when actors play multiple roles and women play men, etc. In this case, they did a great job.
