About Elliot Page presents Jes Tom: Less Lonely

Acclaimed comedian Jes Tom brings their solo show Less Lonely off Broadway for six weeks only, presented by Oscar nominee Elliot Page. Get Less Lonely tickets on TodayTix, and you won't feel lonely for 75 minutes in the company of Tom and an audience.

Less Lonely bursts into New York with "the trans, queer, Asian American, millennial twink perspective that everyone never knew they wanted." With humor and heart, Tom talks about dealing with life's uplifting things — love, sex, gender transition — in the face of its bad things — death, oblivion, the end of the world. See why Page raved, "Less Lonely is a triumph. I laughed until I hurt, and I resonated with Jes’s insights on sex, gender, grief, and more."

See it if you like sexual comedy - here it is an Asian-American trans from San Francisco explicitly sharing experiences in trying to be "less lonely."

Don’t see it if you do not like frank sex talk or solo shows that make fun of sexual relationships.

See it if you want to hear the evolution of a queer Asian person’s journey in finding themself & community. You enjoy longform standup & storytelling.

Don’t see it if you aren’t interested in stories or people whose experience may not look like your own. You are uncomfortable with frank discussion of sex.

See it if You’re interested in one person’s journey as an out trans comedian growing up in San Francisco. Very interesting and informative and funny.

Don’t see it if You think there are too many letters to include in the LGBTQIA community. Jes makes everyone feel at ease but if you’ve no open mind, pass.

See it if you’d enjoy a beautiful reminder that who you are now doesn’t have to be who you’ll always be; you like stand up & contemporary queer jokes

Don’t see it if your definition of the queer community involves gatekeeping regarding what it means to be a real member of a specific subset of LGBT+
