The set was opulent with such a large cast and the animals. Really like Adam Smith and the Russian sopranos. Some nice pieces of humour inserted into the performance made the whole opera memorable.
I'd seen La Boheme many times and this production was just as wonderful as all the others. My guest had never been to the Opera before in his life. Still, he knew the score, and the story, since his late wife's mother-in-law was an Opera singer who had starred in the lead role with Luciano Pavarotti, and he was absolutely blown away by the Met's grandeur and everything else. There's nothing here not to love. See it.
A must see. Wonderful production.
