Rebirth of Rabbit's Foot Tickets

Rebirth of Rabbit’s Foot is a traveling Vaudeville Hip-Hop show. Created by Jordon Waters with Austin Antoine. They designed an interacting Hip Hop show based of a 1900’s Minstrel show called The Rabbit’s Foot Company. Quick history lesson-

Young entertainer/entrepreneur Pat Chappelle was the creator of The Rabbit’s Foot Company. He was the first successful African American to run a traveling Minstrel show in the 1900s with all Black cast. This variety show showcased talented singers, dancers and comedians.

Back to now- Rebirth of Rabbit’s Foot, is about 3 kids (Jay, Ray and Ted) who decide to put on their own show. Throughout the process they encounter many interesting hurdles from racism, relationships and Nutcrackers. Rabbit’s Foot uses the show within a show formula and gives the audience a new experience every time. With a rotating cast of 30 the story finds new perspectives and brings a unique element to theatre.

There's more- The show has performed in Los Angeles, San Diego, and New York City. Such venues in NYC include Funkadelic Studios, Howl Happening, Under Saint Marks, Parkside Lounge Speakeasy, Duplex Piano Bar and Off Broadway’s Cabaret 54/below. Last but not least our most recent showcase in Amsterdam at the Boom Chicago theatre! The show currently runs as a Residency at The People’s Improv Theater (The PIT) every third Monday of every month.
