Christine Baranski is an award-winning theatre, film, and television actress. She has received fifteen Emmy Award nominations, and in 1995 won an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role in the television series “Cybill.” She has also appeared on the television shows “The Good Fight,” “The Good Wife,” and “The Big Bang Theory,” and in many films, including “Into the Woods,” “Trolls,” “The Birdcage,” “Mamma Mia!,” and “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.” She has received two Tony Awards, for her featured roles in the original Broadway productions of “Rumors” and “The Real Thing.”
Emily Nussbaum is the television critic for The New Yorker, and in 2016 she received the Pulitzer Prize for criticism. She has written about “The Good Wife,” “The Americans,” and “High Maintenance,” among other shows, and has profiled showrunners including Kenya Barris and Ryan Murphy. Her piece on “The Good Fight” appeared in the June 4 & 11, 2018, issue of the magazine. Previously, she worked at "New York". She is currently writing a collection of essays and a reported book about early reality television.
