Regardless of the age of the people going I'd suggest Paddington. I've been most recently with three octogenarians who all loved it. I've seen it three times and it's still a joy. I know nobody who's not loved it no matter how old or young they are, whether they're seasoned theatre goers or not. - u/Final_Flounder9849

Definitely Beetlejuice, they have seamlessly transferred it over to the West End and we were lucky enough to see Tom Xander as Beetlejuice, it may be some of the best casting yet. - u/Double-Finance-8178

The Play That Goes Wrong! It is just one of these staples that I think anybody, when they are in London should go see because it is absolutely hilarious!!- u/Sophie_Robin27

Cabaret for sure, one of the most affecting pieces of theatre I've ever been privileged to see. I love how different the show can feel based upon when casts switch! - u/Lazy_Statistician887

Cabaret, 10/10 experience from the moment you enter the theatre, incredible show with a powerful message that leaves you thinking about it for ages afterwards. - u/candid_confusion5

Hadestown, it's fantastic in every way possible and I recommend going in blind if you don't struggle to hear stuff in theatres. It's devastating and the songs, acting and staging are genuinely the best i've ever seen and it kind of ruined the rest of the shows I watched while I was in London because it was really hard to live up to.- u/Fast_Blackberry_8080

The Book of Mormon is hysterical. I saw it when it opened in 2013 and it's still the funniest show I've ever seen! - u/Reetpetit
