Okay, we admit it. We like Hamilton. We may or may not have watched it on Disney+ multiple times — this week. While we take a (temporary) break from pressing play on the musical, we thought it’d be fun to watch our faves from the original Broadway cast in some of their many, many amazing TV and film projects. Start streaming with Daveed Diggs, Jasmine Cephas Jones, and more below.

Lin-Manuel Miranda

The man behind Hamilton is also the man behind so many other stories we love. The composer, actor, and professional tweet-er stars in the magical Mary Poppins Returns with Emily Blunt, wrote the stick-in-your-head songs for Moana, and — for lack of a better word — goes to the dark side in His Dark Materials. Oh, and he was in an episode of NBC’s Smash.

Watch Mary Poppins Returns on Netflix.
Watch Moana on Disney+.
Watch His Dark Materials on HBO.

Phillipa Soo

After taking our breath away on Broadway in Hamilton, Phillipa Soo zipped on her uniform to star as Lieutenant Harper Li in The Code on CBS. Watching this show immediately after streaming Soo as Eliza Schuyler is a great way to see what we already know to be true: she’s an incredible actress. Oh, and she was in a few episodes of NBC’s Smash.

Watch The Code on CBS.

Jonathan Groff
You’ve seen Jonathan Groff in more projects than you realize. It’s because he’s so freaking talented and his work spans multiple genres. From making us swoon in Glee to getting dramatic in Mindhunter to making us cry (in a good way) in Looking to becoming a literal Disney prince with his very own music video in Frozen — what can’t this guy do? Nothing. The answer is nothing.

Watch Mindhunter on Netflix.
Watch Looking on HBO.
Watch Frozen on Disney+.
Watch Frozen 2 on Disney+.

Daveed Diggs

The fun thing about Daveed Diggs’s TV and film catalog is you’ve probably watched him on your screen without even realizing it. He’s guest starred in multiple shows including Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, The Get Down, and Black-ish, and he voices Helen in the new musical-meets-animation show Central Park. But if we had to choose a fave non-theater project of his, we’d have to pick the movie Blindspotting. Diggs wrote it with his childhood friend Rafael Casal about their hometown of Oakland. They star in it together and it’s a funny, intense, unpredictable adventure of a time.

Watch Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt on Netflix.
Watch Black-ish on Hulu.
Watch Central Park on Apple TV+.
Watch The Get Down on Netflix.
Watch Blindspotting on HBO.

Renée Elise Goldsberry

If you’re like us and you can’t keep your eyes off Renée Elise Goldsberry every time she’s onstage in Hamilton, then have we got some good news for you. Not only has she guest starred in The Good Wife with Christine Baranski and other Broadway royalty but she’s also the star in Netflix’s sci-fi hit Altered Carbon. And we can’t forget the time she portrayed Henrietta Lacks in The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks with up-and-comer Oprah Winfrey.

Watch Altered Carbon on Netflix.
Watch The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks on HBO.

Leslie Odom, Jr.

Leslie Odom, Jr. is not the villain in these stories. In fact — in Harriet with Cynthia Erivo — he portrays a real-life civil rights hero. You can also watch him alongside Daveed Diggs and Christopher Jackson in Central Park, in Murder on the Orient Express with Josh Gad (among other Hollywood faves), and also in a little show called Smash on NBC.

Watch Harriet on HBO.
Watch Central Park on Apple TV+.
Watch Murder on the Orient Express on Amazon.
Watch Smash on NBC.

Anthony Ramos

In a year or so — when the In the Heights movie comes out — we have a feeling Anthony Ramos will become even more of a household hame than he already is. Until then, you can catch him in the Netflix hit She’s Gotta Have It and alongside Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper (ever heard of them?) in A Star is Born.

Watch She’s Gotta Have It on Netflix.
Watch A Star is Born on Hulu.

Christopher Jackson

If you’re telling an important story in American history, you’d be crazy not to call on Christopher Jackson to help you out. Jackson portrays lawyer Peter Rivera in When They See Us from director Ava DuVernay about the 1989 Central Park jogger case. To help bring a smile to your face after watching this difficult but necessary story, watch Jackson as he completes the Hamilton-trio in Central Park.

Watch When They See Us on Netflix.
Watch Central Park on Apple TV+.

Jasmine Cephas Jones

We know Jasmine Cephas Jones is a gift because she can turn from “and Peggy” into Maria Reynolds with the swipe of some lipstick. And her TV and film projects are another gift that keeps on giving. She co-stars with Daveed Diggs in his movie Blindspotting, shares the screen with Kathryn Hahn in Mrs. Fletcher, and acts her heart out in #FreeRayshawn with Laurence Fishburne and Stephan James.

Okieriete Onaodowan

Within the Hamilton universe — Okieriete Onaodowan is both Hercules Mulligan and James Madison. And within the Shonda Rhimes universe, he’s firefighter Dean Miller in both Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19. Luckily for us, both of these universes are places we visit frequently.
