Playwright Max Wolf Friedlich teams up with his Job director, Michael Herwitz, to offer a new story that is equally thrilling and dark as their first major collaboration. Job premiered off Broadway at Soho Playhouse in 2023 before transferring to Broadway’s Helen Hayes Theater in 2024. The play took audiences by storm with its deft twists and turns and psychological inquiry into morality, desire, and therapy. Now, their new play offers a deep dive into a similarly murky world with no easy answers and many heart-stopping questions.
The cast features a team of stage and screen darlings: Bubba Weiler (Well I'll Let You Go playwright), Grantham Coleman (Rustin), Tina Benko (Elsbeth), and Jack Mulhern (Mare of Easttown). Robert Pattinson will executive produce via his production company, Icki Eneo Arlo, which marks the company’s first foray into theatre. Audiences can expect a contemporary and eerie story at one of downtown theatre's most beloved and intimate venues.
