A spectacle that feels unsure of whether I’m witnessing reality or living in the mind under psychosis
Exploring the impact of social media on "nice", "normal" people is good idea. And this show did expose a number of clever insights. The dialogue and special effects were good. The acting was excellent. But in the end a satirical show about real behaviour that is already satirical doesn't work. The major characters were unsympathetic and only became worse. I didn't care about them.The supporting characters were more interesting. I wanted to know what they were thinking.
Interesting take on modern internet notions and how their actions affect community.

She is a pioneering and imaginative writer, as seen when she burst onto the scene with her epic and science fiction-infused opus, Mr. Burns, a post-electric play.
Now, Washburn is back in New York City with another premiere, coming to a theatre known for its equally bold programming: MCC in Midtown, Manhattan. In the play, meet Jeanie: a TikToker in a Texas suburb. Two seemingly different households freak out when a Pride flag is raised, asking: how well do you know actually know your neighbors?
