The same Lenny Bruce who became a major character in the hit series "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel". The same Lenny Bruce who was referenced by Jimmy Kimmel, former White House Chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, and the NY Times.
SET UP AND SENTENCED: Herbert S. Ruhe, former CIA agent and witness for the prosecution, said right after the trial: "We picked him out of all the performers. I know he was obscene...Yet, in a way, I felt he had to be convicted."

Brilliant writing, directing and acting! One of the best plays I have seen. Want to work with the writer.
I liked the premise and storytelling, and some of the characters and performances. Ultimately ran a little long.
It was a story about the court case with some flashbacks. Very good story.
