This Summer, La Femme Theatre Productions presents An American Daughter, by Pulitzer Prize-winner Wendy Wasserstein. Directed by Sarna Lapine, this production stars Montego Glover, Robert Sean Leonard & Jean Lichty with Dakin Matthews, Mary Beth Peil, Ryan Spahn, Will Devary, Chris Ghaffari & Carmen Zilles. This revival, topical 20 years ago, has some aspects and ideas that people should see today. But there are flaws in the writing that are built in to this story of how women and politics are still sad and the lead lets the cast full of talent down in what appears to be a glamor production.

I liked the show and the acting, except the lead whom i thought was terrible. She almost ruined the show. The other actors were very good to terrific.
