About Pied à Terre
Lives are about to collide. Julia, a successful television journalist, discovers a Manhattan apartment owned by her attorney husband, Jack, that she was unaware existed. As Julia explores the apartment, her musing and pain are interrupted by the sudden appearance of Katie, a beautiful young woman who seems to know Jack a little too well. At first glance, the two women appear to have nothing in common, save Julia’s husband. As they face off in the apartment, secrets unfold revealing the burdens each has been carrying and they learn they have more in common than either could have thought possible. Pied-A-Terre, or a second home, has a central theme about grieving, loss, and survivor’s guilt, where the passions of the soul come into conflict with the obligations of the mind and the needs of the heart. Not your usual love triangle.

The actresses were quite good. The story was utter bullshit. The audience was horrendous and were openly farting, chatting loudly to each other in Hebrew, and were eating loudly. The two actresses should go on to better work, but that male actor was just terrible. The story was like a hardy boys adventure for adults only stupid and weak. It was a silly play. Nice venue except you could easily hear all of the noise from other productions in the same building.
The only thing worse than this is Matt Ross's breath! Not good! Acting, direction. Awful. Need to see better shows than this garbage pale. Show Score too is slipping in a big way. Not as good.
Pied à Terre is a must go see. It has some many compelling and emotionally drama that keeps you engaged with its surprising twists and heartfelt performance. It provides great details of how the characters show powerful exploration of grief, forgiveness, and human resilience. I also love the intimate staging, it left a lasting emotional impact.
