Principal guest conductor of the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra Stephanie Childress makes her New York debut with a program that includes works by Britten and Rachmaninoff alongside the New York premiere of Anna Clyne’s PALETTE, a concerto for The Augmented Orchestra that breaks new ground with technology in the concert hall.
A JuilliART gallery showing of Anna Clyne’s PALETTE (6pm) and a preconcert talk with Clyne and David Serkin Ludwig (6:30pm) at the Juilliard Station are free and don’t require tickets.
