Anne Marilyn Lucas's new comedy explores the nuances of modern relationships and family dynamics. On the advice of his eccentric self-help guru, 50-something-year-old Aaron Katzman drops a bombshell on his wife, Diana: He wants a divorce! The news sends shockwaves through the family, leaving Diana to question not just her marriage, but her role in life.
As tensions rise, their son dives into the world of polyamory with his fiancée, and Aaron’s elderly parents begin to reveal long-buried secrets that threaten to unravel everything. In this razor-sharp comedy, familial drama, love, and marriage collide in ways that will leave you laughing, gasping, and questioning everything you thought you knew about relationships.
Family dramas are nothing new, but this one uniquely and openly explores the sexual dynamics within them without sacrificing laughs or smarts. Sometimes a divorce is the start of a new chapter...and sometimes it opens up a can of worms for every other member of the family.
