“All I wanna do is live my life on a runway,” McQueen says in this new play. And so he does: a kind of memory play, House of McQueen traces the designer's journey from East London’s council flats to Paris catwalks. Along the way, he turned trauma into artistry and the runway into a battleground for identity, power, and survival.
A stunning and raw production, this new show is more than just a play: it blends fashion shows, family confrontations, and public spectacle into an unforgettable fever dream. McQueen's intense bond with his mother, sister, and muse foreground the story in love, loss, and one icon's artistic obsession.
