It's the summer of 1998 and Annie and Hallie are at sleep-away camp. They've never met, but boy do they mirror one another. Except in this parody, Annie is played by a man and Hallie by a woman: Ginger Twinsies is very much transparent about how big of a hilarious parody this is.
Learning that their parents got divorced while young, Hallie and Annie switch places and hatch a plot to get their parents back together at last. Except, their father is already in love with a new, younger woman who's anything but sweet. What could go wrong?
Audiences will see all their favorite characters from The Parent Trap on stage: the cast features Russell Daniels (as Annie), Aneesa Folds (as Hallie), Jimmy Ray Bennett (as Martin), Grace Reiter (as Chessy), Phillip Taratula (as Meredith Blake), Matthew Wilkas (as Nick), and Mitch Wood (as the lizard — yes, that very lizard).
