“As we revitalize the Todd Haimes Theatre," he said of the comedy's venue, "we’re not just restoring a building; we’re creating a space dedicated to inspiring artists and audiences for generations. Fallen Angels is a farce in which two women, whose husband are away, gossip about the gentleman they are sleeping with on the side...who it turns out is the same man.
Sir Noël Coward, known for his wit, flamboyance, and what Time called "a sense of personal style, a combination of cheek and chic, pose and poise", wrote this play.
Olivier Award winner Scott Ellis, the Interim Artistic Director at Roundabout, directs this new revival.
Cracking audiences up for a century since its 1925 premiere, Fallen Angels is a comedic classic from one of the theatre world's most esteemed farce writers, Noël Coward. Now, with Kelli O'Hara and Rose Byrne taking on the iconic roles of feuding women, the play is sure to tickle funny bones.
There is no formal age recommendation yet, but the play involves mature themes like sex. Audiences four and under are not permitted in Broadway houses.
