Much more than a magic show, Drama Desk Award nominee Vinny DePonto’s Mindplay is after something richer than sleight of hand or card tricks. Instead, he guides participants on a jaw-dropping, interactive journey as he reads minds while also revealing his own. Expect a one-of-a-kind performance and intimate night at the theatre with tricks and feats that will leave you searching for answers. This is a great show for date nights, special occasions, or for anyone who is hungry for a singular performance from a highly compelling artist.
Written by DePonto and Josh Koenigsberg, and directed by Andrew Neisler, the show has been incredibly well received in its previous productions in major cities. Broadway World called the show an “inviting, nostalgia-ridden gem of a performance. Vinny DePonto is a masterful actor, storyteller, mentalist, and illusionist, and Mindplay puts all his talents on display in a unique production that is not to be missed.”
What to watch for
