Edges of Ailey Performances at the Whitney tickets

Edges of Ailey at the Whitney includes a suite of performances in the Museum’s third-floor theater. Alongside the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Ailey II, the performance program will feature an array of artists inspired by and responding to the legacy of Alvin Ailey.

Performance ticket holders will receive same-day access to the Edges of Ailey exhibition and all Whitney galleries during regular Museum hours. This blockbuster presentation celebrates the visionary life, work, and enduring legacy of Alvin Ailey, one of America’s most influential artists. The exhibition combines never-before-seen personal archives, including rare archival videos, and works by more than 80 artists, including Jean-Michel Basquiat, Faith Ringgold, Jacob Lawrence, and Kara Walker. Discover how Ailey’s creative genius transformed the world of dance and left an indelible mark on American culture.
