About Mickey Smith Jr.: Back in the City
Louisiana contemporary jazz & soul artist Mickey Smith Jr. is a saxophonist, singer, songwriter, musician, and ambassador for The King’s Academy (TKA). Smith, the 2020 Grammy Music Educator Award Recipient, performs along with his wife, children, and students from TKA.
The Back In the City Experience is known musically for its explorations into jazz, funk, pop, and soul, as well as their takes on beautiful ballads that give hope and inspiration to audiences to keep on going.
