See it if you are a fan of the novel or Kate Hamill and her unique takes on classics

Don’t see it if you are creeped out by a wooden puppet of a child that looks like it came out of the Exorcist

See it if a solid, efficient, and somewhat reworked telling of a classic story with great acting
