Before the premiere of My Son's a Queer in New York, Madge made a splash with the show across the U.K. They premiered it at the Turbine Theatre in London in 2021, took it to Scotland's Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2022, and returned to London later that year for a West End run, which got an encore in 2023. To top it all off, My Son's a Queer earned an Olivier Award nomination for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play and a WhatsOnStage Award win for Best Off-West End Production.
The show isn't quite a play, though, and not quite a musical. (It, fittingly, exists outside the binary!) My Son's a Queer is a totally unique, multimedia show with stories, songs, videos, and more. But most importantly, under the lively direction of Luke Sheppard (& Juliet), all the elements make one exuberant, entertaining whole. Of course Madge, who hilariously critiqued his family members when their living-room artistry wasn't up to their standards, would deliver nothing less.

- My Son's a Queer made history in London as, reportedly, the first West End show with the word "queer" in its title.
- Madge doesn't just talk about their childhood — they bring it on stage. Alongside the actual home videos, multiple items Madge owned as a kid appear on stage — like wooden props from the kid-sized stage their grandparents built for them.
- Madge's grandmother also made all the Disney princess costumes they wore for their living-room performances. For Broadway, though, that job fell to costume and set designer Ryan Dawson Laight.
- Multiple songs in My Son's a Queer are inspired by famous Disney power ballads.
- Madge made their Disney dreams come true! They made their professional stage debut at age 9 in Disney's Mary Poppins in London's West End.
