Roll camera! Film and stage meet in Jen Silverman's world-premiere play Spain — as do art and propaganda, information and disinformation, and ambition and money. Get Spain tickets on TodayTix and watch it all unfold.
It's 1936. Two young filmmakers have the opportunity of a lifetime: to make a grand Spanish Civil War film that will singlehandedly shift American public opinion. With such an admirable goal, and so much passion and love the filmmakers have toward the film, does it truly matter that the KGB is paying for it all?
We can tell you Silverman's play is seductive, thought-provoking, slick, and unmissable — but if the play has one message, it's that the only way to know what's true is to find out for yourself. So get tickets to Spain off Broadway now.
