Quinn, as a stand-up comic, has truly made his whole career of talking so people will listen. And do they ever – Quinn has more than 500,000 Twitter followers and has played to thousands of audiences on stage and screen. He first broke out in the 1990s as a Saturday Night Live cast member and has since appeared in other popular TV shows and films like Girls, Trainwreck, and Grown Ups.

Quinn has also performed multiple Broadway and Off-Broadway comedy shows to sold-out houses, most of which center on his upbringing in an Irish household in Brooklyn, or else his trademark political humor. His two Broadway credits are Colin Quinn: An Irish Wake and Colin Quinn: Long Story Short. Off Broadway, Quinn has performed Colin Quinn: Unconstitutional, Colin Quinn: The New York Story, Red State Blue State, and Colin Quinn: The Last Best Hope.

What to Watch For

  • Small Talk off Broadway reunites Quinn with director James Fauvell, who previously directed Red State Blue State in 2019.
  • Quinn became the first person to have a comedy special on CNN, when he adapted Red State Blue State for the screen.
  • Did you know Quinn was almost in Austin Powers? Mike Myers offered him the role of Dr. Evil's son Scott, but Quinn turned it down. He later said it was the only project he regretted declining.
