Roundabout Theatre Company operates a Broadway and an Off-Broadway space. The American Airlines Theatre on Broadway first opened as the Selwyn Theatre in 1918, and Roundabout restored the theatre to its original neo-renaissance style as part of the 42nd Street Development Project in 2000. Its Off-Broadway space, the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre, opened in 2004 and contains two venues: the Laura Pels Theatre and the Black Box Theatre.
