About Jeeves Takes Charge
First seen 45 years ago, the Olivier Award-winning and much-loved Jeeves Takes Charge returns to London for a short season at the Charing Cross Theatre after showcase productions at the Jermyn Street Theatre (“Brilliant” – Jeffrey Archer), The Tabard Theatre (“How on earth does he do that?” – Trevor Nunn), and a Christmas season at the Theatre Royal, Bath (“One of this year’s Top 20 Christmas shows – The Guardian).
West End, Chichester and RSC favourite, Sam Harrison, plays all twenty-two much-loved PG Wodehouse characters including Jeeves, Wooster, Florence Craye, Gussie Fink-Nottle, Bingo Little, Uncle Willoughby, Aunt Dahlia, and many more – in a bravura, tour de force, one-man performance. Presented in a brilliant design by Caite Hevner.
Originally brought into the West End by Barbara Dickson and Bernard Theobald, together with Cameron Mackintosh and Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jeeves Takes Charge is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and a song in your heart.

It feels more like watching a talented impressionist show than a traditional play. A One-Man showpiece: Actor Sam Harrison carries the entire show completely by himself. He plays over 20 different characters, instantly switching. His energy and funny voices are impressive to watch. Clever Staging: Instead of big, bulky set changes, the stage relies on clever digital projections inside picture frames to instantly swap the scene from a fancy living room to a train carriage or a country estate.
A romp through the genius of P G Woodhouse
Really fun! Incredibly impressive acting since it's a one man show, and the set designs really worked
