Billy Elliot the Musical in London follows a boy growing up in a mining community during the 1984-85 miners’ strike. His family expects him to spend his free time learning to box, but one day Billy finds himself in a ballet class, and his whole life changes. He discovers a passion for dance that could radically change his future.
His new ambition clashes with the expectations placed on him, especially as his father and brother are caught up in the bitter reality of the strike that has put tremendous pressure on their family and community.
Noah Mannion, Rafferty Smale, Spencer Collins, and William Gurney share the role of Billy. Annette McLaughlin stars as Mrs. Wilkinson, Deka Walmsley plays Dad, Lesley Joseph takes on the role of Grandma, and Jack Bandeira stars as Tony.

Billy Elliot the Musical returns to the West End more than a decade after its original London production ended its smashing run. The musical has been seen by more than 12 million people across five continents and has received dozens of major international awards.
The stage show grew from the acclaimed 2000 film Billy Elliot, with screenwriter Lee Hall returning to write the musical’s book and lyrics. Stephen Daldry, who directed the film, is also the one who created the original stage production and is returning to direct this exciting revival.
Much of the original creative team reunites alongside him, such as choreographer Peter Darling, scenic designer Ian MacNeil, costume designer Nicky Gillibrand, lighting designer Rick Fisher, sound designer Paul Arditti, and musical supervisor Martin Koch.
With music by Elton John, Billy Elliot the Musical returns to London with a thrilling production filled with dance and themes of family and resilience.
