About Fallen Angels

Don’t miss Noël Coward’s Fallen Angels returning to the London stage for the first time in 25 years. Book Fallen Angels tickets on TodayTix.

See two-time Olivier Award winner Janie Dee (Follies) and Alexandra Gilbreath (Twelfth Night, The Taming of the Shrew) starring as best friends whose husbands are out of town. When an ex-lover from their past returns, what will happen?

This beloved comedy also stars Christopher Hollis, Richard Teverson, Sarah Twomey, and Graham Vick.

Fallen Angels is a play that premiered in 1925, precisely 100 years ago. Due to the play including women admitting premarital sex and also considering adultery, it was initially subject to scrutiny by the theatre censor, the office of the Lord Chamberlain. Eventually, the required license was granted due to intervention by the Lord Chamberlain.

After its rocky beginnings, this Noël Coward comedy has become a theatre classic that still resonates a century later.

Following a 2016 revival at Trinity Street Theatre in Texas, the Broadway World review said of the production, “I recommend Fallen Angels to anyone who enjoys classic comedy and an extremely enjoyable evening at the theatre.”
