About A Midsummer Night’s Dream - Globe

Don’t miss A Midsummer Night’s Dream like you’ve never seen it before. This winter, Shakespeare’s Globe and Headlong reunite for a haunting new production of one of Shakespeare’s most beloved, magical plays. Book A Midsummer Night’s Dream tickets on TodayTix.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a play where four young lovers flee into a forest being ruled by wild forces in an attempt to escape a city ruled by tyranny. In the forest, the Fairy King and Queen, Oberon and Titania, wage a brutal war over a stolen child, unleashing the mischief of the unruly Puck. As night falls and snow descends in midsummer, love and surrealism intertwine in a world where reality begins to melt away entirely.

Directed by Naeem Hayat (The Comedy of Errors), alongside Headlong artistic director Holly Race Roughan, this majestic co-production transforms this familiar tale into something eerie. With candlelight, music, and snow conjured before your eyes, it’s a re-interpretation of Shakespeare’s work that binds both darkness and wonder in a timeless tale.
