50 First Dates is a musical that is choreographed and directed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw (Mean Girls, The Book of Mormon).
"50 First Dates is one of the most beloved romantic comedies of all time, and has also been one of my favorites ever since I first saw it," Nicholaw said. "After watching it about 50 times as my 'go to' movie on airplane flights, I realized it would really sing well and could be very special, so I began to start the ball rolling to turn it into a new stage musical."
50 First Dates in London has an exceptional creative team, which includes book, music, and lyrics by David Rossmer and Steve Rosen, creators of the musical comedy The Other Josh Cohen. Set and costume designer is Fly Davis, lighting designer is Aideen Malone, projection designer is George Reave, sound designer is Adam Fisher, and wig, hair, and makeup designer is Cynthia De La Rosa.
