Porn Play in London tells the story of a young, successful academic, Ani, who is harboring a dark secret; she's addicted to violent pornography. As her career and relationships begin to crumble, will she be able to confront her struggles?
Mod's career began at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and she was an expert in sketch comedy, playing half of the duo, 'Megan from HR.' It seems only fitting that she returns to the stage. She said of Porn Play, "it felt so juicy, but also so different."

Sophia Chetin-Leuner is the writer of Porn Play, and this production marks her Royal Court Theatre debut. For years, she’s been developing this production. In fact, in 2022, it was shortlisted for Soho Theatre’s Verity Bargate Award.
“Ever since I was a teenager, going to see plays at the Royal Court has shaped my ideals and purpose of who I want to be as a writer – so it’s a terrifying privilege to have Porn Play debuting here,” Chetin-Leuner said.
Starring alongside Mod is Olivier Award winner Will Close (Dear England), Lizzy Connolly (Pygmalion), and Asif Khan (A Man For All Seasons).
The exceptional creative team includes direction by Josie Rourke, design by Yimei Zhao, lighting design by Mark Henderson, movement direction by Wayne McGregor, and sound design by Helen Skiera.
