Don’t miss Arthur Miller’s poignant political parable, The Crucible, on stage at the Globe Theatre for the first time ever. Book The Crucible tickets on TodayTix.
Audiences are transported to Salem, Massachusetts, in 1692, at the height of the paranoia of the witch hunts. When rumours spread about a group of girls practicing witchcraft, the situation quickly spirals out of control, and soon nobody is safe. How far will the Salem residents go to protect themselves?
Miller’s 1953 play was a commentary on Senator McCarthy who was investigating suspected communists in America during the early 1950s, and even today The Crucible remains a timely and relevant piece of theatre.
