Why Am I So Single? in London is a song-and-dance-infused show that comedically explores modern dating, including the struggle of using dating apps. Through the show, two friends who are perpetually single musical theatre writers procrastinate working on their next show by exploring their dating woes. Their journey is filled with laughter as well as heartfelt moments of friendship.

The cast is led by Jo Foster, who starred in & Juliet until 2023 and who was part of the original Sadler’s Wells workshop; Noah Thomas, who starred as Jamie in Everybody’s Talking About Jamie in 2021; and Leesa Tulley, who was an alternate in the 2022-23 UK tour of SIX.
The creative team for Why Am I So Single? includes orchestrations, vocal arrangements, and music supervision by Joe Beighton and sound design by Paul Gatehouse. Both were involved with Moss and Marlow’s first musical, SIX, Beighton was nominated for an Olivier for his work and Gates was nominated for a Tony.
Why Am I So Single? is a musical that includes numerous genres of music such as 1930s jazz, pop, and disco. The songs are paired with exceptional choreography by Olivier and Tony Award-nominated Ellen Kane.
Of the show, Moss and Marlow said in a joint statement, “This is ultimately a musical about two friends, their desire for love, and how they deal with loneliness.”
