This tale of self-discovery tells the story of Ali, who decides to take the leap, leaving her small town and heading to New York City in search of her mother. When she gets a job as a burlesque dancer, her life is changed forever.

The film starred Cher, Christina Aguilera, Kristen Bell, Cam Gigandet, Stanley Tucci, Julianne Hough, Alan Cumming, and Peter Gallagher. This musical staging includes music by Christina Aguilera, who is also an executive producer for the show.
