Experience the power of the Royal Albert Hall’s 9,999-pipe organ, as some of the world’s most respected organists come together for one magnificent concert.
Hear an array of beloved organ pieces, from Reger’s Fantasia and Fugue on Bach to Britten’s Four Sea Interludes, performed by David Briggs, Thomas Trotter, Wayne Marshall and Isabelle Demers. Plus, our Associate Artist Anna Lapwood will play music from Hans Zimmer’s Interstellar score, as heard on her forthcoming album, Midnight Sessions at the Royal Albert Hall.
The evening will also see rare collaborations, and fascinating demonstrations that will unveil the complexity of this majestic instrument. All of the action will be broadcast live on big screens, revealing the intricate workings of the artists’ hands and feet, and the internal mechanics of the 75-foot jewel in the Royal Albert Hall’s crown.
