The Palace Theatre in London is notorious for being a home of London magic; cabarets, revues and variety shows have been commonplace throughout its history. Even the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child opened at the Palace Theatre in 2016. Now, it’s the turn of Wonderville in London to take centre stage in the West End.

What To Watch For

Chris Cox stars in Wonderville, previously consulting on all the magic elements for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Josephine Lee also stars, previously competing on Britain’s Got Talent.

The hula hooping acts Max and Symoné hold a joint Guinness World Record with their hoop troupe, Marawa’s Majorettes. They hold the world record for most hoops spun by a group at 299.

The Palace Theatre has been the home of magic on television too. A Doctor Who episode had a villain masquerading themselves as a magician and ventriloquist. Eventually, they were caught out in the act. Let’s hope the magicians in Wonderville aren’t as easily fooled.
